Dr Smith has qualified as a GP trainer. This means the practice can take on a GP trainee. GP trainees are hospital junior doctors who are training in general practice and they may ask for help from the trainer on occasion. We will have a GP trainee, Dr Sin Hui Ng working in the practice from February 2019.

From Thursday 1st December, the opening times of our three urgent care centres at Hexham, North Tyneside and Wansbeck general hospitals will change from 24 hours a day, to 8am to midnight, seven days a week. Out of these hours please call 111 if its not urgent and 999 if it is.
