Patients will be allocated an appointment the same day, if required, or with a doctor or nurse on duty within seven working days (except where the named doctor is on leave).

Patients can expect to be seen by the doctor or nurse within twenty minutes of their appointment time, or to be notified if there is an unavoidable delay.

Patients can expect all referral letters to be sent within seven working days of a referral decision having been agreed after discussion between the doctor and themselves.

Reports and information requested by non-medical bodies, such as solicitors or insurance companies, will be returned within three working weeks of receipt, unless greater urgency is specified – medical work takes priority.

We aim to provide a pleasant, friendly atmosphere at our practice and to provide patients with a polite and efficient reception service.  If we fail in this endeavour and you are not happy with the service you receive, please request a copy of our complaints procedure from the reception.

In return, patients are asked to be tolerant when faced with delays due to emergencies.  we request that patients be punctual, notify reception in good time if they cannot keep appointments, and not request home visits if they can attend surgery.
